In dieser Intermezzo-Folge geht es um die Psychologie der Selfies. Selfies sind längst Teil der Alltagsfotografie, werden aber oft vorschnell als reine Selbstdarstellung abgewertet. Deshalb schauen wir genauer hin: Warum machen Menschen Selfies, und wie häufig tun sie das überhaupt? Welche Rolle spielen Erinnerung, Kommunikation, Identität, Selbstwert und soziale Rückmeldung? Und was zeigen Studien dazu, ob Selfies wirklich etwas mit Narzissmus zu tun haben?
