  • Magazine Publisher Katerina Kroslakova on Taking Risks, Challenging Yourself and Trusting Your Instincts
    2025/11/01

This week's guest is Katerina Kroslakova or KK, as many know her - Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, redefining what lifestyle media looks like in Australia.

We talk about her evolution from editor to publisher of T Magazine and the business acumen she’s developed not through theory, but through practice - building, scaling and backing herself every step of the way. We dive into her pursuit of excellence, her unwavering commitment to editorial integrity, and what it takes to balance a global brand with local insight and empathy.

KK is someone who moves at pace but with real clarity. We explore the challenges that stretch you - the ones that feel hard, but right - and how she decides where to place her energy.

I really respect KK's honesty about where she is right now. She knows the work still requires a lot of graft, but she’s moving through it with purpose and setting herself up for what’s next. And I especially loved hearing how, after choosing to walk away from a career as a classical pianist, she’s held onto the joy of playing.

  • Director Arielle Thomas on Ambition, Vulnerability and the Power of Process
    2025/10/26

This week's guest is Arielle Thomas - filmmaker, social strategist, founder of Cinema Thom, and host of Process: The Podcast.

Arielle is electric - in the way she creates, the way she speaks and the way she shows up for her work. She’s built a career on backing herself and carving her own lane: founding Cinema Thom, directing films and campaigns that cut through, and building a podcast that lifts the curtain on creative process with real honesty and heart.

In this episode, she shares the values that anchor her, the mindset that keeps her momentum, and the lessons she’s learned along the way. Arielle’s confidence and conviction are inspiring - but what makes her stand out is how she pairs ambition with real vulnerability.

It’s rare to hear someone talk about their work with this much joy and conviction - it’s contagious. I fist-bumped my way through the whole conversation, and I think you’ll leave this episode feeling the same spark.

And if you’re looking for more of Arielle’s perspective, make sure you check out @arielle.thomas and @processthepodcast

  • Nadia Fairfax-Wayne on Connection, Confidence and Why Life’s Meant to Be Lived
    2025/10/19

This week's guest is Nadia Fairfax-Wayne - a multi-hyphenate creative and self-described “girl about town” who’s carved a distinctive path through Australia’s fashion and digital world.

From training at the Australian Institute of Sport to launching Fairfax Journal, Nadia’s journey has been anything but linear. One of the first in Australia to harness the power of social media for personal branding, she built an influential presence long before it became the norm - and always on her own terms.

In this conversation, Nadia shares the courage it takes to pivot, why the best opportunities come from getting off email and into the room, and the power of long-term relationships. She talks about navigating commercial work with a creative-first mindset, the vulnerability of showing up publicly in early motherhood, and how her “life comes first” philosophy keeps it all in perspective.

She’s sharp, hilarious, endlessly curious, and refreshingly real - and a brilliant reminder that experiences matter more than endless to-do lists.
