Bill Evers works for the Independent Institute. He has been a liberty activist since the 1960's. He discusses Murray Rothbard, Ed Crane, and the various splits which occurred in the movement's early days. He discusses what happened at the 1983 Libertarian Party (USA) convention--the nomination of David Bergland and the walkout by the "Crane machine."
