Working in construction can lead to many different destinations in life and can prepare you for just about anything. Our guest Robby Brown got his start in the construction industry digging ditches and pouring concrete. It was through hard work and determination that he built up a company of his own called "Brown Construction." After running a successful business for many years Robby decided it was time to try his hand in politics and run for Mayor of Heflin, Alabama. The election is right around the corner, but with no one running against him, Robby is gearing up for a second term.

Not only is Lincoln a project manager for Forsyth Building Company, but he is also very involved in Hope Outdoors. Hope Outdoors allows many people with different abilities to be able to enjoy the beauty of nature, while also experiencing the thrill of a good hunt.

The “Brick by Brick” theme of this episode covers the importance of taking things one step at a time. Whether it be your personal life, work life, or spiritual life, doing things one step at a time is usually the correct path. A good foundation isn’t rushed, nor is it built overnight.
