Many families are stuck in a cycle of back-to-back colds, lingering coughs, repeated infections and far more sick days than feel normal.
And beneath the exhaustion, there’s often a deeper concern: Ismy child ok? Are they getting everything they need?
Because when illness becomes frequent, it’s not just bad luck. Recurrent infections are often a sign that the immune system isn’t functioning optimally and one of the mostoverlooked reasons is nutrient insufficiency, particularly fibre.
Around 70–80% of the immune system is influenced by the gut. The beneficial bacteria living there rely on fibre from plant foods to function properly.
Yet only around 5% of children are eating the recommended amount of vegetables. Which means our kidsare in trouble. And so are their immune systems.
