Big Announcement: Come fangirl with us

I've started a cultural salon for feminist fangirls who want more than just a podcast feed. This is for the girls, gays, and theys who want buddy reads, mutual aid, monthly zines, and a found family that actually shows up. Plus, each month we'll have a guest expert join us for a salon-style convo where you can deepen your feminist lore (think: political experts, gender scholars, grassroots organizers, film & media critics). There's so much more inside, so come take a peek!

On JULY 15th, we'll dive deep in ACOTAR together (chapter by chapter, already listed for you on the site) ahead of our bonus episode.

Plus: I'm doing a giveaway for THREE free lifetime memberships. All you have to do is leave a review on apple podcasts! I'll announce the winner on the July 10th pod and on IG!

Episode Summary: We're back in Barrys Bay for episodes 3, 4 & 5 of Every Year After. On one hand, I can't stop watching. On the other hand, the integrity of the book is out the window and we need to just accept the rollercoaster ride we're on. Who needs Percy & Sam when we have Jordie and Chantal? There are some really rich feminist themes woven through these few episodes and also some questionable choices. Who are we to judge? We stan some messy drama

Feminist Follow-Through: No matter how chaotic and unnecessary the passport drama was with Chantal, it would have been significantly worse IRL. Let's be real, this US Admin is not favorable to people crossing boarders, and with her expired passport, Chantal would have been in a pretty bad situation. So many immigrants in this country are facing a far worse situation, so let's protect our most vulnerable and call our reps and stop migrant abuse at ICE centers.
