  • Share The Gospel in Six Words: Gospel Mini-Series
    2026/06/04

We notice Christian parents talk about Jesus in safe spaces but freeze in real conversations, and our kids learn that pattern by watching us. We share practical ways to tell our testimony at home and a simple six-sentence gospel tool that helps our families speak with clarity and courage.

Life in 6 Words Framework from dare2share.org

    • finding natural moments to share our story with our kids
    • leading with honesty without oversharing or sanitizing the mess
    • asking questions that invite conversation rather than lectures
    • repeating our testimony over time as part of everyday life
    • moving from testimony to a clear gospel message
    • using Life in Six Words from Dare to Share as a memorized framework
    • practicing through role-play and learning to spot on-ramps in real conversations
    • letting go of the pressure to convince and trusting the Holy Spirit to work

  • Tell Your Kids Your Faith Story: Gospel Mini-Series
    2026/05/28

We challenge ourselves to answer a simple question our kids may ask one day: “How did you become a Christian?” We break down why sharing our testimony is one of the strongest tools for family discipleship and give a simple framework to craft it and tell it naturally at home.
    • why kids need more than facts about God
    • Psalm 78 and Deuteronomy 6 as a call to pass on faith
    • how our story becomes evidence our kids can carry
    • why an “ordinary” church kid testimony still matters
    • what a testimony is and why it is not a performance
    • the Acts 26 framework: before, encounter, after
    • what to avoid: oversharing, embellishing sin, missing the gospel
    • a practical exercise: write two to three sentences for each part
    • practice out loud and look for a real moment to share

So shoot us an email, podcast at WayneChristian.org. And share this parent with another, you know, parent who needs to hear this episode and um, you know, learn about sharing their testimony, or maybe even listen to it with your own kids so that they can learn to share their testimony too. And make sure you subscribe so you don't miss the rest of this series about sharing your faith as we keep rolling with that here.

  • The Summer Challenge
    2026/05/21

We want summer to shape our kids instead of letting drift shape them. We lay out the Summer Challenge, five simple anchors that build faith, wisdom, service, intergenerational connection, and resilience before fall.
    • reframing summer as a discipleship lab, not a break
    • spotting “drift” signs like nonstop screens and entitlement
    • reading one real book to build attention and wisdom
    • memorizing a weighty Scripture passage that forms the heart
    • serving someone anonymously to practice humility and sincerity
    • setting up one meaningful conversation with an older believer
    • choosing one hard thing on purpose to grow perseverance
    • making the plan visible, doable, and celebratory as a family
