Heather, The Lactologist, is your local lactation expert with a strong emphasis on holistic, individualized care. An IBCLC since 2018, she can tackle a wide array of issues including low supply, oversupply, complex medical history, tongue/lip tie, pumping and bottles, body tension, and so much more.Her approach to lactation care is empowering moms and babies to work together harmoniously, avoiding unnecessary medical treatment when possible, and providing ongoing professional and peer support.
Heather was mentored by a top tier RN IBCLC for her clinical internship, giving her experience with the toughest breastfeeding cases. She then worked in Washington State in private practice and a busy Baby-Friendly hospital. Heather is now growing her lactation practice in NWA and SWMO while raising little ones and homesteading.
