In our first interview, we meet Ms. Dorothy Broughton. Ms. Broughton is a member and Deacon at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in Durham.

This interview spans three episodes - from childhood in Monroeville, Alabama through transitioning to NYC and upstate New York, then down to North Carolina.

While my intent is to boundary episodes to 45 minutes I couldn't help letting this episode be longer - the stories are that rich and meaningful!

A special thanks to Ms. Broughton for allowing me to spend so much time with her and learn some valuable lessons along the way.
