 Matthew 6:19-21 says, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” So what treasures must we build up in heaven when everything will be provided for us? I wrote in my book how Jesus tells us in Revelation that the overcomer or conqueror will receive 18 rewards: 1. “I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (2:7b) 2. I will give thee a crown of life. (2:10b) 3. shall not be hurt of the second death. (lake of fire) (2:11b) 4. I give to eat of the hidden manna, 5. and will give him a white stone, 6. and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. (2:17b) 7. I give power over the nations: 8. And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 9. And I will give him the morning star. (2:26-29) 10. the same shall be clothed in white raiment; 11. and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but 12. (and) I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (2:5) 13. will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, 14. and he shall go no more out: 15. and I will write upon him the name of my God, 16. and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: 17. and I will write upon him my new name.(3:12) 18. I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” These are all spectacular treasures beyond our imagination. Is there more? How I can go and personally evangelize as many people as possible, which is a fair enough plan, but is there a better strategy… a Biblical strategy? Jesus said, “Therefore go (this is a command) and make disciples of all nations” Matthew 28:19 Notice He said make disciples, which is what He did… He taught people how to become leaders and carry on after He was gone. And then, each of these disciples should produce more disciples and so on. Disciples produce a greater return on your investment than just evangelizing individuals. I’m amazed at how few leaders and few Christians actually follow this command. We shouldn’t want to leave this planet until we have produced at least 12 disciples of Jesus Christ! (And kicked some dirt in satan’s eye!) I want to see my investment paying off with treasures popping up in heaven now and long after I’m gone… don’t you? https://thegodfarm.com/products/
