What happens when therapists become the people everyone else turns to, but their own support starts to disappear?

In today’s episode of From Both Sides Of The Couch, I am joined by Lorain Moorehead, therapist, consultant, and host of The Self-Care Therapist podcast, to talk about why supervision, consultation, and therapy still matter after licensure.

Join us as we unpack the fine line between supervision, consultation, and therapy, why therapists need spaces where they can be honest about what is coming up for them, and how ongoing support helps clinicians grow instead of quietly carrying everything alone.

Getting licensed does not mean therapists stop needing guidance. Whether we are learning a new modality, navigating a difficult case, or noticing our own reactions in the room, support is part of ethical and sustainable clinical work.

If you are a therapist, supervisor, consultant, or helping professional who has ever wondered where your own support is supposed to come from, this conversation is for you. Join us as we explore why licensed therapists still need supervision in Why Licensed Therapists Still Need Supervision With Lorain Moorehead
