In Episode 5 of Beyond the Bay Window, I’m joined by my oldest friend, Doug — and the very first person to rent a room at Number 333.

Within his first week of living in the house, Doug experienced something he has never been able to explain.

He came home one Friday and saw a woman in the bathroom.

A woman who shouldn’t have been there.

At the time, I brushed it off. But looking back, Doug’s experience may have been one of the earliest sightings of the mysterious Lady in the Bay Window — except this time, she wasn’t in the bay window…

In this episode, Doug and I go right back to the beginning. We talk about growing up together in the 90s, him moving into Number 333, the strange things that began happening in the house, the loft incident after our friend Dan moved in, and an unforgettable moment during the Manchester Derby.

We also revisit the bizarre coin incident from June 2022 — an experience that left Doug wondering whether something had actually followed him home.

More than thirty years of friendship means Doug and I have shared a lot of memories.

Some of them are much harder to explain than others.

And that’s what makes his story so important.

Because the strange experiences at Number 333 have never just happened to me.

My family have experienced them.My wife has experienced them.My friends have experienced them.

Even people who walked into the house as complete sceptics have sometimes left questioning what they thought they knew.

So what does Doug believe after everything he experienced?

Is Number 333 really haunted?

And would he ever stay here again?
