このコンテンツについて
Today's conversation is inspired by one of my oldest friends Kyle whom I’ve had the pleasure of playing in a couple of bands throughout the years. Nowadays I help him with his home recordings and he’s pretty nifty at writing catchy punk rock music. He asked me about the importance of multi-tracking and in this case, Kyle means recording one part multiple times when recording. Instead of going down the rabbit hole of regurgitating the entire history and evolution of multi-track recording (there are numerous articles out there and it is fascinating to learn), I will try my best to expand upon this question and offer up some insights for Kyle and other new home recording enthusiasts who may also be wondering about why you would want to record one instrument part multiple times. Thanks for the question, Kyle.
