Here is the live show from Sunday to bring the curtain down on ND after almost 14 years. It’s been a wonderful journey. The show was originally founded and formulated, to introduce and bring newer and fresher sounds to a niche audience who were still hungry to want to hear new music beyond the same old school stuff. For the large part I think it’s been successful in doing just that. Bringing new sounds and introducing new styles for those people to begin their own journey of exploration. But now with such a proliferation of music access points, for people to find the music and begin those explorations, I feel ND’s purpose has become somewhat diminished.
I’m not hanging up the headphones completely, and I’m sure that I will pop up here and there on the internet soul stations, but for now it’s time for ND to take its final bow. Thank you to everyone that has joined me on the journey across the years.
Enjoy this final set. It was a banger even if I do say myself
