In Spring 2025, Elecom Finies linebacker Colby Campbell played in the LFA with the Mexicas de la Ciudad de México, where he was not only a key member of a championship winning team, but also named the MVP of Mexico's version of the Rice Bowl and Super Bowl- Tazón México.
In 2023, John and Greg sat down with Colby, then playing with the Nojima Sagamihara Rise, to talk about his life and journey to Japan. From South Carolina to Finland to Germany to Japan to Mexico and back to Japan, Colby has had an interesting and varied journey during his young gridiron career!
