概要
In August 1990, a quiet college town in Gainesville, Florida was thrown into panic. Over just four nights, five college students near the University of Florida were murdered inside their own apartments. The killer broke in at night, targeting students while they slept—turning their homes into crime scenes and leaving the city in fear. Students fled campus. Doors were locked. Curfews were set. Police soon realized they weren’t dealing with one random attack—but a serial killer. That killer was later identified as Danny Rolling, known as the Gainesville Ripper. Investigators eventually connected him to earlier murders in Louisiana, showing his violence didn’t start in Florida—it escalated there. Rolling was arrested later that year, convicted, and sentenced to death. But even decades later, the Gainesville murders remain one of the most terrifying cases in Florida history.
Five victims. Four nights. One city forever changed.
