Hannah Ennis spent years battling anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts before finding the tools that helped her rebuild her life, and eventually turning that experience into her work as a Self Image Coach.
This week, Hannah joins the lads to speak openly about struggling with her mental health from a young age, how things deteriorated through her teens and early twenties, and the moment her family stepped in to get her the help she needed. Her journey took her to Thailand for treatment, where the shock of realising she needed more support than she wanted to admit became a major turning point.
The gym became a place of solace for Hannah, and her work now focuses on self image rather than just fitness. Therapy, journaling, nervous system work and learning to sit with difficult feelings have all become part of how she looks after herself, and how she helps others do the same.
This episode contains discussions about anxiety, depression, self harm, suicide, addiction and mental health. If you have been impacted by any of the topics discussed in this week’s episode, support is available:
