In today's episode, I had the pleasure of speaking to Flamy Grant, a talented singer/songwriter primarily in the Christian music genre. Their inspiring lyrics resonate with an audience who has felt marginalized by traditional religion. They give language to and tell the story of so many who have had a circuitous journey to finding a spiritual Home. It is personally unprecedented for me to experience a Drag Queen who is a singer/songwriter in the Christian genre. This conversation touched me deeply as I connected with their desire to BE who they uniquely were created to BE. I left our conversation inspired and filled up listening to them talk about the alchemy and magic within the creative process, the grit required to be our authentic self despite society's expectations, and the importance of finding our personal truth through our intuition.
