Karen began her career in industry consulting by working closely with an established contract research organization in the medical device space. Originally launched as a data intelligence firm supporting and analyzing large clinical trial datasets, she quickly realized KLEO's expertise was largely lacking in many areas of the life sciences industry. As a result, Karen rebranded and launched KLEO as a global contract research organization supporting all aspects of market entry and success in the life sciences industry.
Known for her work in advocating for diversity in clinical research and improving healthcare for underserved populations, Karen works closely with local private practices in Montana to bring industry-sponsored clinical trials to rural and diverse populations. Utilizing a grass-roots approach, Karen developed a process for connecting healthcare providers and their patients to the cutting-edge innovation of pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic companies.
