About Nicole Biros:
About Nicole Biros Bolton: Hello, I am a human rights and employment lawyer at Ross & McBride LLP in Hamilton, ON. I serve all of Ontario. Before becoming a lawyer, I spent 20+ years working as a front-line counsellor and advocate for women, children and gender-diverse individuals who experienced violence, trauma and abuse. I believe that justice and equity are non-negotiable and always worth fighting for and I pursue these goals with empathy and compassion for my clients. I hold a law degree from King’s College London, UK, and a Masters in Human Rights Law from the University of London, UK. I'm a board member for Parkdale Community Legal Services and the Toronto Fringe and I am a member-at-large on the Ontario Bar Association's Constitutional, Civil Liberties and Human Rights Executive Committee. In 2021, I founded and am now the Chair of the Hamilton Branch of the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), supporting the work of LEAF National to promote gender equality in Canada through law. While not working to promote social justice, you can find me with my partner and three wonderful children, dancing, hiking and cooking up a storm.
