概要
What if the present moment isn’t here to do anything for us?
In this episode, we explore the idea that “now” may be deliberately unemployable — not here to justify the past, secure the future, or prove we’re on track. We’ve turned the present into a job, asking it to generate meaning, clarity, and momentum. When it doesn’t, we call it empty.
But meaning belongs to narrative time. Enjoyment belongs to lived time.
When we stop extracting usefulness from the moment, the nervous system softens. Experience widens. Not bliss — just okayness.
As the present is laid off, the past is freed from justification and the future loosens its grip. No arcs to obey. No trajectories to maintain.
Just a moment, allowed to lead nowhere — and a life that becomes less of a performance because of it.
