Inspired by Revelation’s vision of Christ with many crowns, the hymn celebrates Jesus as the Lamb upon the throne, the Lord of love, and the Lord of life. At its heart is a dramatic reversal: the Jesus whose head was once crowned with thorns now wears the crowns of eternal victory.

“Crown Him!” transforms that historic hymn into an exuberant modern gospel proclamation.
