In terms of updates in Congress, the House passed a bipartisan tax bill, yet to be approved by the Senate. The immigration and Ukraine bill has been amended, passed by the Senate, but sent back to the House. Trump's recent Fox News interview was also a topic of discussion, followed by the final news story - a new rule in Oregon about it's State Senate and removal of boycotting Senators.

In election updates; Biden has announced an extensive advertising plan, Republican donors met to debate which Republican primary candidates to support, states have been discussing the possibility of Trump being removed from the primary ballot, Nikki Hayley's new campaign strategy has launched, Democrats have voted in their first official primary in South Carolina, and the winter meeting of the Republican National Committee discussed the possibility of joint fundraising with Trump.
