1979's The China Syndrome is one of the best examples of predictive programming we have, IMO. Twelve days later, the incident at Three Mile Island occurred very similarly to the disaster in the film.

Today, due to the influx of these damn data centers, we're told nuclear power for the electrical grid is basically the only option.
