In this episode, Dave sits down with Adam to discuss the reasons we can trust the Gospels. They explore the historical evidence behind the Gospel accounts, their authorship, the authenticity of the story of Jesus, and why all of this matters for those of us who call ourselves followers of Yeshua.
Hebrews 5 describes believers who are still like infants because they are unfamiliar with the “Oracles of God,” a phrase most often connected to the Torah—the instruction God gave His people. At The Whole Testament, we recognize that many of us today are also “baby believers,” still learning the deeper truths of God’s Word. Our desire is to grow in maturity by learning to “eat” solid spiritual food.
This is the heartbeat behind our podcast. We want to engage Scripture in meaningful ways that help us grow. Some episodes offer brief reflections meant to spark fresh ways of thinking. Others take a deeper look at the Scriptures, inviting thoughtful study and reflection. Finally, we share conversations focused on how we can live out what we’ve learned by talking with people who are practicing these truths in their daily lives.
Our aim is simple: to pursue God’s Word with depth, understanding, and a desire to live it out faithfully.
