Episode 12 – The Southwark Priest and the Ouija Board

This week, This Is A Ghost Story delves into two eerie tales passed down through Kathryn & Alison's own family.

The first takes us back to pre-war South London, where generations of one family witnessed the silent appearance of a mysterious priest walking through their home. His unexplained visits became an accepted part of family life… until one remarkable discovery changed everything.

The second story jumps to the 1960s, when a seemingly harmless Ouija board session among friends took an unsettling turn after one question received an answer nobody expected. What happened next left everyone present shaken and became a story that would be retold for decades.

Alongside these remarkable family accounts, we explore the folklore surrounding ghostly guardians, the history of Ouija boards, and the possible explanations behind experiences that continue to divide believers and sceptics alike.

Were these simply extraordinary coincidences… or something far more mysterious?
