For a long time, I carried a clear picture of what this season of my life would look like. I imagined certain relationships, shared moments, and a sense of closeness and belonging that I thought would always be part of my future.
When life turned out differently, I did not realize at first that I was grieving—not only what had changed, but also the moments that never had the chance to happen.
In this episode, I talk honestly about that kind of grief, the way it can quietly shape our days, and what it means to keep loving ,growing, and holding hope without putting our present life on hold.
This is not about pretending the loss does not matter. It is about honoring the life we pictured while allowing the life in front of us to hold meaning too.
If your life looks different from the one you once imagined, I hope this conversation reminds you that a different life is not an empty life.
Reflection question: What did the life you thought you would have represent—and how might you begin caring for that part of yourself in the life you have now?
