このコンテンツについて
We start from 1000 miles above New York City before we had any knowledge of electronics and only limited knowledge on the nature of light and sound and everything was slow. (We'll hang out there again...)
Then The Age of the Iron Horse arrived, and everything began getting faster, which accelerated even more at the turn of the century when we harnessed electromagnetic radiation, starting at the lower end with the longest of the long waves first with bursts of noise which carried Morse Code.
We gained more finesse in modulating radio waves; enough so that we could broadcast the human voice, and that made radio a medium for the masses.
As the last segment, we talk about the nature of time, the nature of this podcast, and the nature of instantaneous communications, We've now seen a whole life cycle in our first instantiation of communications immediacy, as we say goodbye to commercial telegraphy at its last known address: India, and say hello to you.
