Everitt Allen (USA) Bio
Sound Therapist
Everitt has been teaching and playing bowls and gongs for over 20 years and is a sound therapist with specialized training in Tibetan Bowls and Gongs. Studying with Methab Benton in Austin TX and Suren Shrestha with Atma Buti in Boulder CO.
He completed the Integrative Medicine Oncology Training at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas using yoga and sound for healing. He is a certified instructor in using healing Tibetan bowls and has trained students in their use, and offers a certificate of completion. Everitt is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher in both Kundalini and Hatha Yoga, as well as a certified Chair Yoga Instructor with advanced training in Restorative Yoga. He is a practicing I-Rest Yoga Nidra teacher as well as a certified teacher of Senior's Yoga, and is a Certified Yoga Therapy, C-IAYT. He conducts monthly Sound Healing groups and sessions in Chakra Therapy. He has taught workshops and lead classes in England and India.
He is the founder of Sound Therapy of the Pacific Northwest that specializes in applying the techniques of therapeutic yoga with the sound of the gong and singing bowls. He is the artist of CDs on Yoga Nidra, "Infinite Awakening" and sound healing, "Healing Tibetan Bowls". He has performed with Mehtab on the "Galactic Gong"CD.
