But somewhere along the way, I started wondering whether we have also created a new set of rules for how women are supposed to behave.
In this episode of Vexed in the City, I explore the labels we use to describe women, the pressure to perform the “right” kind of womanhood, and the uncomfortable possibility that some of these labels might be doing the opposite of what feminism was supposed to do.
Because are we really supporting women…or are we just supporting women who behave in ways that make us comfortable?
