In this episode, we recap what has happened in the Women’s World Cup so far in Australia and New Zealand. We pick our favourite moments, games, how did our predictions fare, who do we see going on to win it, and our picks for key individual honours.
We also build-up to the new Premier League 2023-24 season which began this weekend. We pick out some of the differences this season in terms of personnel and how teams have set up. We also pick our favourites to finish in the top half, as well those already doomed to be candidates for relegation. We also spend a few seconds, and not any more, to ponder if City will run away with it again (yes, they will).

Notes, clarifications, errata
Starting this season, the Premier League could have one more Champions League spot, outside the traditional top four. This is a correction to a statement made in the podcast about “the top 3 automatically qualifying”, which expanded to the top 4 from 2019.
Andre Onana may not participate in the African Cup of Nations as was erroneously stated. He had retired from all international football in December 2022.
