What happens when a child begins sharing memories of another lifetime and the details point to one of baseball's most legendary figures?
In this episode of The Curious Soul, Cristina Malavenda and Marty Go sit down with author Cathy Byrd and QHHT facilitator Jeroen de Wit to explore children's past life memories, reincarnation, regression, healing, and the possibility that our souls may carry memories across lifetimes.
Cathy shares the extraordinary story of her son Christian, who began talking about being a "tall baseball player" when he was just a toddler.
The memories only became more specific.
As Christian continued describing another life, Cathy began searching for answers. What started as a mother trying to understand her child's unusual statements eventually led her to Dr. Jim Tucker at the University of Virginia and to Jeroen de Wit for past life regression.
Cathy opens up about the fear, confusion, and validation she experienced as Christian's memories seemed to connect to Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Yankee Stadium, and details from baseball history she later researched.
Cristina, Marty, Cathy, and Jeroen also explore how QHHT works, why children may remember past lives more easily than adults, what the higher self may reveal during regression, and how soul memories can bring healing, perspective, and a deeper understanding of why we are here.
The conversation also expands into grief, illness, free will, Dolores Cannon's work, historical validation, and the idea that our relationships may carry meaning across lifetimes.
Whether you are fascinated by past lives, skeptical but curious, or wondering what children's memories may reveal about the soul, this conversation invites you to consider that who we are may extend far beyond this lifetime.
You'll hear:
• What Christian began saying about being a baseball player in another life
• How Cathy responded when his memories became more specific
• Why Dr. Jim Tucker's research helped Cathy understand what may be happening
• How Cathy's past life regressions with Jeroen connected to Christian's memories
• What details pointed toward Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, and baseball history
• How QHHT explores the higher self, healing, and soul memories
• Why children may remember past lives before those memories fade
• What Cathy and Jeroen believe these experiences may teach us about who we are
About Cathy Byrd and Jeroen de Wit
Cathy Byrd is the author of "The Boy Who Knew Too Much," the true story of her young son Christian, a baseball prodigy who began sharing vivid memories of being a baseball player from the 1920s and 1930s when he was just two years old. Her story has opened a larger conversation about children's past life memories, reincarnation, and the continuity of the soul.
Jeroen de Wit is a Los Angeles-based Level 3 QHHT facilitator. QHHT, or Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, is a past life regression method developed by Dolores Cannon. Personally trained by Dolores Cannon in 2006, Jeroen helps people explore past lives, the higher self, healing, and expanded states of consciousness.
