What happens when an experience during one of the most frightening moments of your life completely changes the way you understand consciousness, spirit and death?

In this episode of the Anthony Larkin Podcast, I’m joined by Dublin-based spiritual medium Orla Harte, the woman behind Heavens Healing Holistics.

Orla says she had always been aware of spirit, but her spiritual path changed dramatically following a near-fatal accident involving her son.

While he was lying in a coma, Orla fell asleep beside his hospital bed holding his hand. She describes finding herself in an incredibly vivid experience where she saw her son running towards her across a green field. As their hands met, she woke to discover his physical hand moving.

Her son later came out of the coma with no lasting physical or cognitive problems and no memory of what had happened.

Orla believes the experience was an out-of-body experience in which she connected with her son and helped guide him back.

That experience became an important part of a spiritual journey which eventually led Orla to develop her mediumship and work with people across Ireland, the UK and America.
