Christen is a neutral panel member with the United States District Court, Western District of New York. She is a regular volunteer for regional mediation competitions at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. She has been a certified arbitrator and mediator for more than 25 years. She has authored non-fiction books for law students and new lawyers, as well as novels that often center around environmental corruption.
