As Isadora’s stories unfold, she admits just how unprepared she was. How do you seduce a woman when everything you know has been learned from seducing men? Her solution was to remain curious, stay present, and approach the experience by imagining what she herself might want — even when the reality proved more complicated than the fantasy.

That leads Janine to examine her own sexuality: her lifelong attraction to men, her fascination with androgyny, and her lingering curiosity about being with a woman. Would dating provide an answer — or would a female escort offer a safer, simpler way to explore the question without pretending to want a relationship?

Along the way, we talk about sexual fluidity, the differences between stripping and escorting, and the practical realities of safer sex. Isadora also explains how escorting gave her something she hadn’t always had in her personal life: the authority to insist on protection, to say no without apology, and to make her own boundaries nonnegotiable.
