In this episode, we walk through Chapter 3 of Tartaria: The Secret History of the Mud Flood, Tesla, and Free Energy — the mechanism behind everything from last episode's tour, revealed floor by floor inside a single building, and we sit with what it means. This wasn't five separate miracles, but one machine wearing five different disguises.

The tour takes us back to the same bathhouse in Anian from Chapter 2, now under active restoration, scaffolding wrapped around it like a cast on a broken limb. We start below ground, in a crypt with a shaft sunk deep into the earth — a grounding connection to the planet's own electrical current, the same basic principle as a lightning rod on your roof, except scaled up to power an entire city. From there we climb through four feet of structurally unnecessary brick that turns out to be built for storing charge, not holding up a roof. Higher still, set into the base of a dome, a golden orb the size of a bowling ball — found, more than once, quietly drained of whatever it once held and refilled with sand by someone who didn't want the next person to ask questions.

And at the very top: a stained-glass rose window whose lead lattice isn't decoration at all. Measure it, and it resolves into the same geometric ratios you'd find in a tuning fork or a cymatics experiment — the kind where sound organizes sand into a perfect symmetrical pattern. This window tunes raw energy into a specific, usable frequency before sending it anywhere near a human body. It's the exact tone and light that mended a shattered leg in under an hour back in Chapter 2's healing hall. One building. One integrated system. Heat, light, power, communication, and medicine, all running off the same underlying machine.

In this episode, we dig into:

  • Why four feet of "unnecessary" brick turns out to be doing real structural and electrical work
  • The golden orb that's been found drained and refilled with sand across multiple restoration sites — and what that says about who wanted it forgotten
  • How a stained-glass window's geometry connects directly to the healing technology from last episode
  • Why the chapter argues this wasn't five separate miracles, but one system, broken deliberately at its connecting points

We also get into the book's narrator, Azazel, and his relationship with Dinah, the restoration contractor who lets him onto active job sites off the books — and the anger he says he wants listeners to feel by the end of the chapter, not just curiosity.
