このコンテンツについて
In this episode, I welcome Stacey DeLooze, an accomplished singer songwriter with a voice that often had her compared to Kate Bush.
Born in 1984 in Yorkshire, Stacey grew up under the wings of music. Part of a lineage of musicians on both her mother's and father's side, Stacey went on to study music in Manchester before moving to London, age 19, to do a degree in Music at the London College of Music.
Stacey performed for years as DeLooze, taught as a singing teacher in London schools as well as privately, worked as a music therapist in children's wards at St Mary's and Westminster Hospital and is now expanding her skill set as a reminiscent music therapist in care homes in and around Chesham.
And if that wasn't enough, Stacey is also the author of Eat Sleep Sing, a book combining the science behind singing and its benefits with practical exercises aimed at the novice as well as the more experienced singer.
We talked about her various facets as a professional musician, the healing power of singing and music, and what 2023 might have in store for Stacey.
