  • The Fear of Bad Reviews
    2026/01/14

There’s a special kind of anxiety that hits when a bad review shows up — the stomach drop, the panic, the sudden fear that your entire business reputation is slipping through your fingers. If you’ve ever spiraled over a harsh comment, a public complaint, or seeing your name called out online, this episode is for you.

In this vulnerable conversation, we talk about the real emotional weight of bad reviews — why they feel so personal, why they trigger such intense business anxiety, and why most people who don’t run a business simply don’t understand the impact.

You’ll also learn the psychology behind why customers leave negative reviews, how to respond without losing yourself, and why bad reviews can actually build trust instead of break it.

If you’re an e-commerce owner dealing with customer service stress, fear of criticism, or the pressure of public feedback, this episode will help you breathe again — and see bad reviews in a completely different light.

  • The Side of Business Nobody Talks About
    2025/11/30

Running a business isn’t just strategy and sales. It’s emotional. It’s heavy. It’s personal.

And no one really talks about that part.

In this podcast, we’re talking about how it feels to run an e-commerce business — the ups, the downs, the panic spirals, and those rare moments where everything clicks and you think, “Okay… maybe this is working.”

Because if you’re anything like me, there were countless times you wished someone would tell you, “Yes, this part is normal. You’re not losing your mind. You’re just running a business.”

But when I went looking for that voice, it didn’t exist. Everything out there was marketing tips, sales tactics, conversion hacks… but nothing about the emotional weight you carry as a business owner.

So that’s what we’re doing here.

Hi, I’m Anne. I’ve been running my e-commerce store for over 15 years. Before that, I was a web developer. So I’ve seen a lot — and I’ve been through a lot.

But even with all of that experience… I’m still human. I still get overwhelmed. I still panic when sales slow down. And I still have days where the emotional side hits harder than any business problem ever could.

If you’ve felt any of that — the fear, the anxiety, the joy, the pride, the heartbreak — you’re not alone.

    You belong here.

This is Emotional Ecommerce — the podcast for people who love their business, fight for their business, stress about their business, and sometimes feel crushed by their business… but keep going anyway.

I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s get into it.

The next episode drops on December 3, so if this introduction already made you feel a little less alone, stick with me. We’re just getting started — and there’s a lot more we’re going to walk through together.
