If we don't listen, even what little understanding we have will be taken away from us. The window of repentance doesn't stay open for too long! When God looks at us, we're either from the house of Jesus or the house of Adam. When we fight our flesh, we fight the house of Adam and the choices he made. Jesus's solution for us being lukewarm is for us to 'buy His gold', which is going to cost us. Sacrifice will get out of lukewarmness!
