We're wrapping up an exciting weekend here in El Paso with some major events happening right now and tonight. If you haven't made it downtown yet, you still have time to catch some incredible music and culture this afternoon. The Sol Summit Music and Cultura Festival is in full swing at San Jacinto Plaza with gates open at two thirty this afternoon. The festival runs until ten PM tonight, and we're told headliners include Bomba Estéreo and The Flaming Lips. It's a family friendly event with free admission for kids twelve and under when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Gates are at Mills and Oregon, and also at Mesa and Main, with a dedicated VIP entrance available. The festival is cashless so organizers encourage you to plan ahead and consider using rideshare services to get downtown.
If live music isn't your scene, El Paso Comic Con is also wrapping up today at the El Paso Convention Center downtown. The indie bilingual event runs today from ten AM to five PM with celebrity guests, vendors, gaming, and panels throughout the day. Paid admission applies for today's sessions and weekend passes.
And for our music lovers, tonight is the final night of the BTS concert at Sun Bowl Stadium. If you haven't caught it yet, all seven members are performing tonight at eight PM. The show was also held yesterday evening, so this is your last chance to see it.
