• Your content just got flagged as AI - here's what actually matters
    2026/08/19

Your Instagram post just got flagged as AI. You're pretty sure you didn't use it. Turns out the background remover in Canva has other ideas.

    In this episode:

    • Why Meta's flagging content you didn't think involved AI at all - and what's actually triggering it
    • The difference between a fake news article and a background-removed photo that the label can't see - yet
    • Why the algorithm was never the real risk here (and what actually is)
    • The one line missing from your contracts that's about to matter a lot more
    • What a watermark can and can't tell someone about your work

    Action step:

Open your contract template today and add one line naming how you use AI in client delivery - even a rough draft. No lawyer on call? Braden Drake's contract library has ready-made AI clauses. Grab one and adapt it before your next client kicks off.

  • The Documentation Gap That's Making AI Implementation Hard - and How to Fix It
    2026/07/28

If Claude keeps missing the point, it's not the tool. It's that your business only exists in your head, in old Slack threads and in a VA who's been carrying the load for years.

    In this episode:

    • Why AI keeps getting it wrong - and it's rarely the tool's fault
    • What already exists in your Slack, Asana and Drive that you can hand straight to Claude - no blank page required
    • The two-part system I'm building with a 7 year client - one place that indexes everything, one place that holds it
    • Why letting AI write all your SOPs will cost you your voice
    • How to turn documentation into an hour a week, not a day you never get to

    Action step:

Pick one department in your business. Open Claude and ask it to comb through your Slack, Asana and Drive for anything recurring - a task, a conversation, a process. Don't ask it to write final SOPs yet. Just get it to show you what already exists.

  • 3 Claude workflows that have nothing to do with content
    2026/07/21

You've been using AI to write captions. Meanwhile, Claude is scanning inboxes, pulling reporting data, and blocking calendars at 4am before anyone's desk is warm. Three real workflows running in a real business - none of them have created a single piece of content.

    In this episode:

    • Why your inbox is the right place to start - and why I wrote a different voice skill just for email responses
    • The reporting task that used to sit on the to-do list for days - now done while she sleeps, no manual clicking required
    • The 4am time blocking workflow that means I sit down to a day already mapped - and why it's my favourite thing running in Cowork right now
    • The difference between a skill and a task in Claude Cowork - and why getting it right keeps your automations clean
    • Why using AI for content is actually the most boring use case (and what to do with it instead)

    Action step:

Pick the admin task you've been putting off the longest - inbox, reporting, scheduling, it doesn't matter. Write down what you'd tell a VA to do. Step by step, what to look for, what to leave alone, what to do if it's not there. That's your Claude brief. Start there this week.

  • How to Set Up Your Brand in Claude Design
    2026/07/07

You open Canva to build something on-brand and just... stare at the blank page. Not because you can't design - because you don't have a designer, and nobody ever taught you how to bridge that gap. There's a tool sitting inside your Claude subscription built to close exactly that gap.

    In this episode:

    • Why Claude Design isn't a Canva replacement - it's a design system compliance tool, and that distinction changes how you use it
    • The one setup step everyone rushes past that decides whether your outputs look on-brand or just generic
    • Why Claude defaults to rounded corners and pill buttons on everything you ask for - and exactly what you need to tell it to stop
    • The token cost nobody warns you about, and the one setting to flip once your design system is built
    • How to take a Claude Design mock up and actually finish it in Canva, PowerPoint or your website builder

    Action step:

Pull every brand asset out of Canva this week - your colours, your actual font files, your logos, a couple of designs you love. Upload them into a Claude Design design system as PNGs or JPEGs, skip the PDFs, and go through every mock up telling it exactly what to strip out.

  • Claude Pro vs Team Plan - What do you actually need?
    2026/07/01

Your VA is logged into your Claude account. You gave her the password because building out a whole separate login felt like more admin than it was worth. Here's what Anthropic's terms of service actually say about that, and whether upgrading to teams is even the right call for a business your size.

    In this episode:

    • Why sharing your Claude login is quietly putting your account at risk - and what Anthropic's terms actually say about it
    • The real minimum cost of the teams plan - and why it's built for a business size that isn't yours
    • What shared projects actually change about the way your team works inside Claude
    • The one setting on your personal account that could be exposing your business data right now
    • How to know if two people actually need five seats

    Action step:

Open your Claude account settings this week and check whether Anthropic can train on your conversations. If a team member is working from their own personal account, ask them to check theirs too - don't wait until you've made the teams decision to fix this.

    In this episode:

    • What MCP actually is and why it changes how AI tools connect to your data
    • The specific things you can ask Claude when it's connected to Kit - and which ones actually matter
    • How to build a hot leads list for your next launch without building a single Zapier workflow
    • The segmentation and automation wins that are genuinely worth your time

  • The AI conversation you need to have with your team
    2026/06/02

Your team is using AI in your business. They've made their own decisions about what's okay - because you haven't made those decisions yet. That's probably fine. Until the client data ends up somewhere you didn't intend, or the work starts sounding generic in ways you can't quite trace back.

    In this episode:

    • Why the AI rules in your business are a CEO decision - and what's actually at risk when no one makes them
    • What data privacy looks like in practice - from client lists to financial data to the specific settings your team need to switch off in their AI accounts right now
    • How much you actually need to know about AI to lead your team confidently - less than you think, but not nothing
    • The questions to work through before you open the conversation with your team - so you're not winging it on something you haven't thought through yet
    • A checklist to take into a 30-minute meeting that covers everything that matters

Action step: Work through the checklist in this episode for your own business, then book a 30-minute call with your team this week. This conversation is overdue. It doesn't have to be complicated.

  • The 8 Claude skills that run my podcast content workflow
    2026/05/26

You record the episode. The transcript lands. And then... it just sits there. Because turning it into a newsletter, shownotes, Instagram carousels, and threads posts requires opening six tools, making a hundred decisions, and spending three hours you don't have. So you don't. And another episode disappears.

    In this episode:

    • Why the orchestrator skill runs everything else - without it you're still doing the prompting, which means you're still the system
    • The sneaky reason to build your own Claude skills versus grabbing someone else's - and the security risk nobody mentions when you skip this step
    • What "80 to 90% done" actually looks like in practice - and why that number is the one that finally makes publishing feel possible
    • Why your voice skill lives outside your content skills - and what that has to do with output quality

    Action step:

Before you build anything, map your current content workflow on paper. Every step, every decision, every tool you open. That's your skill blueprint. Then build the orchestrator first.
