In today's episode, Earl and Pearl find themselves in a place called Catfish County, serving alongside retired Marine Bob Diseker and his wife Deannie, as well as David and Sheila Little. Their destination is a small country congregation with about fifteen faithful members, many of whom have worshiped together for decades.
The work list looks familiar enough: painting, repairs, maintenance projects, and a few surprises hiding in places where nobody has looked for years. As always, Earl brings plenty of enthusiasm, a little confusion, and just enough confidence to keep things interesting.
Yet during this Sojourn, Earl and Pearl discover something important. Sometimes the greatest contribution we make has less to do with hammers and paint brushes and more to do with encouraging faithful people who have quietly served the Lord for many years.
Join us as raccoons scatter, signs lean in unexpected directions, devotionals touch hearts, and a little church in the country reminds everyone that some of God's greatest work happens through simple acts of encouragement.
