It's been a bit of a break between episodes, but I have been on paternity leave. Today we start our new topic of 'Gastrointestinal Physiology' looking first at Liver Physiology. This is a big topic to cover and an equally important organ. I start with addressing the functional anatomy (01:43). Then this allows us to appreciate the many functions of the liver (06:48) followed by reviewing hepatic blood flow and the factors that control it (19:33). The last LO for today is assessing the laboratory investigation of the liver (31:52). Finally, we look at the previous SAQs (and cicm is really good for this!) (39:50).
