Assuming an Asana on a comfortable seat, the Yogi should slowly drawn in the Pavana/air through the Daksha/right Nadi. Then he should practice Kumbhaka, retaining the breath to the utmost till it is felt from the hair on the head to the ends of the nails in the toes , i.e., pervading the whole body. This excellent SURYABHEDA PRANAYAMA should again and again be practised, as it purifies the brain, destroys diseases arising from excess of wind, and cures maladies caused by worms and bacteria.
