His editing is recognized for its precision, rhythm, and strong collaborative spirit with visionary directors.

Matheus Farias is a Brazilian film editor and director whose work spans narrative and documentary filmmaking. He edited Pictures of Ghosts by Kleber Mendonça Filho and has been involved in several internationally recognized projects. Alongside his editing career, he also writes and directs, bringing a strong authorial sensibility and emotional clarity to his work.
