In this episode I take you behind the scenes—what it really feels like to take on a new challenge: opening a freediving school.

Because 10 years ago, I would’ve faced something like this very differently. Back then, I was working as a film producer… constantly stressed, anxious, lost in endless tasks. Always doing, always thinking—completely disconnected from myself.

There was no space. No clarity. Just pressure and noise.

And then the ocean changed that.

Freediving, especially, reshaped everything. It showed me that real strength doesn’t come from pushing harder, but from calm and clarity.

So now, stepping into this new adventure… I move differently.

More grounded. More aware. Clear in every decision I make.

The challenges are still there—organizing, logistics, regulations… But the way I move through them is completely different.”

I grew up in Greece, surrounded by the ocean and nature... I had a deep connection with myself... I knew where my limits were...and what I was capable of ..

But I left the beautiful island and became scared so badly I couldn't look at a shark in a newspaper..

Hier nehme ich euch mit nach Patagonien

Tomi ist Argentinier, doch seine Wurzeln reichen bis nach Europa: Sein Urgroßvater stammte aus Stettin – damals noch Deutschland – und musste während der NS-Zeit mit seiner Familie fliehen. Sie wanderten nach Buenos Aires aus, wo er sich als Kieferchirurg ein neues Leben aufbaute.

Von einer Patientin kaufte er schließlich ein Stück Land – ein Ort, der heute noch in Familienbesitz ist und von Tomis Mutter geerbt wurde. Genau dort beginnt auch unser Abenteuer: eine wunderschöne Cabaña mitten im Wald

Nur zwei Minuten entfernt liegt die nächste Scubatauchschule. Die Leute dort waren unglaublich herzlich und haben uns ihren privaten Spot gezeigt

Das Wasser? 17 Grad – für einen See überraschend warm!

Die Sprungschicht beginnt bei etwa 25 m und die Sicht liegt um die 20 m… einfach ein Traum, an einem anderen Ende der Welt !
