A toddler does not like his older brother … until a remote clearing reveals the real source: a prenatal trauma imprint that turned a baby’s fear into defensiveness. Kara L. Baas, MS, LPC-MH is a professional mental health counselor. She received her Master's Degree from South Dakota State University and is currently practicing in Brandon, SD. Kara began exploring Energy Psychology in 2010, first learning EFT. Crystals started talking to her in 2015 and she began integrating crystals into her work with EFT, using stones associated with the Chakras holding emotions or blocked energy. Her tools and skills have evolved. She now uses several energy healing modalities into her not-so-traditional mental health practice. She uses Emotion Code, Body Code, Body Talk, and parts work and works within the many layers of the energy body. She is also a Holy Fire Reiki Master, Crystal Reiki Master and Angelic Reiki Master, certified in Crystalline Soul Healing, and The Bengston Method ® and also uses vibroaccoustic therapy and integrates quantum codes into her healing work.

We sit down with Cara Baas, a licensed professional counselor and self-described energy geek, to talk about Clinical EFT tapping, distance work, Reiki, crystal grids, and how she tests for what’s actually driving a symptom. I met David in 1998 when he and Dr. Dorothea Hoover-Kramer co-founded the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, ACEP. I was "raised" in how t diagnose and heal the human energy system through ACEP. He was one of my teachers and mentors.
