DISCUSSION & REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
Trees (like the burning bush) are featured in many Biblical stories. What other Biblical stories do you know that feature trees, wood, vines, etc? Why do you think trees are a common element in God’s word?
Talk about the importance and power of names. Why do you think on one hand Moses believed God’s voice, presence, and power, but on the other hand doubted and pushed back on God’s instructions?
When in your own life have you had a similar experience of belief-disbelief?
How have you personally experienced and encountered God?
What hard things has God challenged you to do in your own life? How has he helped guide and lead you?
