Right now, as we speak, the Burj2Burj Half Marathon is underway with over 13,700 runners from around the world competing in this stunning 21-kilometre course. The race started early this morning at 6:30 AM, taking participants from Emirates Towers all the way to Jumeirah Gardens, passing iconic landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab. This third edition features some seriously impressive elite athletes, including Uganda's Joshua Cheptegei, a two-time Olympic gold medallist, and Kenya's Irene Cheptai, a world cross-country champion. If you're near the route, grab a coffee and cheer on these incredible athletes.
If you prefer something a bit more laid-back today, head over to Reef Mall for their indoor flea market running until 6 PM. It's free entry and a fantastic way to hunt for treasures and vintage finds.
