I started the Driven Young Podcast as a way to help educate and inspire the younger generation. There are plenty of amazing podcasts out there but I find very few tailors their content to those in high-school and uni. Even the ones that claim they do seem to go off track and fail to keep their message clear and simple for the younger generation to understand.I believe our world is changing so fast, the current education system can’t keep up and is left teaching us old and outdated skills no longer relevant in the workplace. This podcast explores what I believe should have been taught in school and aims to help people realise the world is different from when their parents grew up and we must make relevant decisions based on the world we live in currently not the world people used to live inByron Dempsey マネジメント・リーダーシップ リーダーシップ 経済学

  • 136: CBD Business Invested by Gordon Ramsy at 22
    2025/10/20

From Market Stalls to Gordon Ramsay Investment - The Raw Truth About Building a CBD Empire at 22 Georgia Butler's journey from losing her father to suicide at 17 to building a CBD company that caught Gordon Ramsay's attention is anything but ordinary. In this candid conversation, she pulls back the curtain on what really happens when you build a business straight out of university - the 10,000 times she pitched her story at weekend markets, the moment Gordon Ramsay's team scouted them at a trade show, and the unexpected reality of winning his investment on BBC's Future Food Stars.

But this isn't your typical success story. Georgia gets refreshingly honest about why she and her co-founder walked away from their company after tripling revenue, the isolation that comes with being the "always busy" friend, and why she believes most entrepreneurs are wrong about business creating freedom.

Now starting fresh in Sydney's Bondi Beach and legally unable to start another business due to visa restrictions, Georgia shares her perspective from the "messy middle" - that chaotic phase where you're pivoting constantly, people think you don't know what you're doing, and nothing makes sense until you look back years later. Whether you're struggling with the loneliness of entrepreneurship, wondering if you should take that big opportunity, or trying to figure out your next move after an exit, Georgia's unfiltered insights about mental health, building in public versus private, and why any decision is better than no decision will resonate deeply.
